Area naturalists have noticed something amazing this year. The oak trees are not producing acorns! And the squirrels are getting desperate. At this point, no one's sure if it's an isolated weather event or part of the larger climate change phenomenon. So scatter a few nuts for the squirrels now and then...they're hungry.
